.NET is Everywhere This year's .NET track absolutely Rocks with some of the brightest stars in our industry - some from Microsoft, since several of our speakers who come to Øredev are from Microsoft Redmond , and others who are not from Microsoft! All the other conference tracks are also filled with .NET related material making this years Øredev a new gigantic stride for our big .NET delegate crowd. Hardly did the revelation of the four pillars of the .NET Framework 3.0 sink into the development community until Microsoft steamrolled on into the .NET Framework 3.5. The 'Orcas timeframe' is around the corner and all the technologies from 3.0 - WCF, WPF, WF and WCS - are now evolving further to integrate even closer with such great technologies as ASP.NET AJAX, ASP.NET Futures and Silverlight. The Silverlight project is now released in 1.0 version and has announced Linux support!
