Spring batch
In this session, Rob will demonstrate the exciting new Spring Batch framework. Batch processing applications make up a large portion of the enterprise landscape, but until now support in Java has been sadly lacking. Attendees will learn about the core concepts of batch application development and how they map on to Spring Batch. Rob will discuss IO strategies for large batch applications and demonstrate how these strategies can be employed in the Spring Batch world. To close Rob will discuss the future roadmap for Spring Batch and give a glimpse at features planned for release next year.
Attendees should be familiar with the Spring Framework and have an intermediate level of Java understanding.
