SOA and Agile: the (im)possible match!
SOA and Agile have both passed their worst hype, and are today truly important concepts in business. Never the less they are still under debate and often placed in opposing ring corners; "SOA is not Agile!". In this seminar we will show how SOA could benefit from agile thinking and also that Agile can benefit from a service view to make its case even stronger. Although SOA is an architecture and Agile is a principle, they are both used to try to reach some of the same goals. We will discuss areas where they might clash as well as present a way to make them fit together, and make them both stronger. One of the major points is how we can work in an Agile manner with contract first development to avoid a big upfront investment. Come and see SOA and Agile merged, presented by two architects/developers, who will also add their experience from the Java and .Net worlds.
