Wicket in ActionWhy stop object oriented programming at the web tier? Why settle for legacy ridden, prematurely optimizing, mind numbing frameworks when instead you could be having fun coding again? Enter Apache Wicket! This session will cover the basic concepts of Apache Wicket and how you can leverage these to develop web applications with just Java and HTML. We will also take a detailed look at building truly reusable custom components with excellent localization and AJAX support demonstrated by an example.
