Collaborating Successfully Across Cultures - An Essential 21st Century Skill
The world is becoming increasingly interdependent. Understanding and managing different mindsets from our own is a key skill for the future.
In collaborative project work it is no longer enough to have world-class ideas, technology, structures and processes. Selecting the right people, putting them in the right roles and leading diverse teams effectively will be a major source of competitive advantage.
The leaders who will succeed best in the 21st century will be those who can go beyond linear processes and engage with people different from them at emotional and spiritual levels.
This session introduces you to a tool for categorising cultures which helps you make sense of the complexity. It also suggests what you can do personally to get things done across cultures.
Cultural interaction is no longer something we can afford to leave to chance. It must be managed.
