Claes Runnquist, Global Business Solution Manager, Volvo IT Claes Runnquist is Global Business Solution Manager for the Collaboration area within Volvo IT. He is responsible for collecting the demands for Collaboration within the Volvo Group and transforms them into services. Over the last years the Collaboration Consulting Service has been more and more focused. Virtual meeting is a typical example of these consulting approaches to support the Volvo companies to capture the business value of the Collaborative services.

VOLVO IT´s Global collaboration implementation Can a virtual meeting using audio or video equipment be more productive than a face-to-face meeting? Yes, we believe so, with planning, training and with agreement on the behaviour in the meeting this is possible. Volvo is a global company with lot's of global managerial teams that meet virtually occasionally and needs to have these meetings as productive as the face-to-face meetings.
