An introduction to EJB 3.0. Up until now Enterprise Java Beans have been considered difficult to implement and maintain and often not the primary choice for a persistence layer in a J2EE application. This however may all be changing with the emergence of the EJB 3.0 specification. This seminar will introduce the EJB 3.0 specification to the audience, key differences between EJB 3.0 and EJB 2.1 and comparing the different coding patterns that need to be followed in the new EJB 3.0 specification.
