J2ME MIDP 2.0 Development
This tutorial introduces J2ME MIDP 2.0 development, using an open source development environment (Eclipse, Ant, Antenna, Sun's WTK, and Siemens SMTKs). The tutorial introduces the MIDP 2.0 Game API as well as the sound part of the MIDP 2.0 Multi-Media API. Furthermore we will learn about persistence mechanisms like record store management and file I/O with JSR 75. The tutorial contains lectures and lots of exercises and Java programming. At the end of the day every attendee should be able to develop media-rich action games with MIDP 2.0.
