A conference in Malmö for software developers

Tutor:
Lennart Lindh
Lennart Lindh graduated from LTH 1980 with an MSc.E.E. After five years at ABB Robotics as a system engineer, he was appointed associated professor at Mälardalen University (MH). His main focuses are implementation of complex functions in HW, Real-Time OS and multiprocessor systems in FPGA technology. He is today responsible for guidance of Ph.D. candidates, PC member in academic workshops/conferences as FPGAworld.com, board member in Euromicro and divides his time between MH and the company RealFast AB.
Workshop:
Build a flexible SW/HW platform in a 200 000 gates FPGA chip
In this workshop you will build with a HW and SW component a complete computer system, with real-time kernel and terminal handler and load it down to one FPGA chip on a board. Verification will be done by graphical C-level debuggers. The participants will also get a view on component library, configuration management of device drivers etc. At the end a small very cheep HW/SW platform with UDP protocol and real-time kernel, etc., will be demonstrated.
