A conference in Malmö for software developers

Roger Sundman, Imsys Technologies AB.
Roger is a cofounder of Imsys Technologies, the company that developed the worlds first reconfigurable microprocessor. His area of interest is image processing, microprocessor architectures and energy efficient computing. He is today responsible for Imsys marketing activities and has been a programmer for many years writing software for medical instrumentation including PET-scanners. He is also a writer and a frequent speaker
Java and reconfigurability. The seminar will focus on a few major problems facing the embedded industry today. The market is shifting from tethered (plugged to the wall) to untetherd systems. The time-to-market cycles get shorter while product complexity increases. Design costs for semiconductors using state of the art technology is skyrocketing. To keep pace with these challenges Java and reconfigurable systems is a viable way forward.
